Unlike the regenerated viscose process commonly used for bamboo fabrics, the bamboo bast fibre in this robe is mechanically processed to retain more of its natural fibrous character.

What Makes Bamboo Bast Fibre Different?
Bamboo bast fibre is produced by mechanically separating usable fibres from the bamboo plant rather than dissolving and regenerating the raw material into viscose.
This helps retain more of the fibre’s natural character, resulting in a fabric with a more organic, lightly textured feel rather than the silky-smooth finish commonly associated with bamboo viscose.

Really love this robe. The fabric feels soft but also has a nice natural texture, which makes it feel quite different from a typical silky bamboo robe. I wanted something to wear when I get out of the bath, but most robes are too thin for me. It's always hot and humid where I live so this is the perfect solution.
I am very happy with this. It is soft and light weight. I am 163 cm , 59 kg but I ordered size L because I was afraid that it will be too small and I need this for a hospital stay. I love the length, the rope is fixed on the back so it won’t slide off which I like, however it is indeed not that long as someone pointed out in the reviews but for me it is enough. recommend!
